WHO IS GROWING an interactive and circular art installation that invite you to step into the space under the tree’s branches and let it take root in you. Experience the magnificent illuminated net as darkness descends and the lights are turned on. Give your voice to the tree by decorating the interactive part of the growing web surrounding the bench and the interacting with each other through art.
Created by the artist duo Lacing Lab with the assistants from a Sculpturethis Creator Workteam. A collaboration project with the youth house Fundament and DESIGNERSHIP as a celebration and welcome to new students to Kolding and invitation to all young people to Fundament at R10. The art project is funded by Kolding Municipality Culture & Event, Fynske Bank, Kjæhr & Trillingsgaard A/S & EWII.

From installation process making to the welcoming new students and all young people in Kolding and to youth house Fundament
Lacing Laboratory in the process making of the WHO IS GROWING art installation with assistance from Sculpturethis Creator Workteam.
CIRCULAR MATERIALS used and discarded conduit pipes, which Lacing Lab have braided into a coherent network to form a total variation of shapes that, like a sculptural luminous network, wrap themselves around and up into the top of the tree.
